Professor Roy Simon authors updated editions of "Lawyers and the Legal Profession" and "Regulation of Lawyers: Statutes and Standards"
Professor Roy Simon, the Howard Lichtenstein Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics, is the lead author on the newly published fourth edition of "Lawyers and the Legal Profession" published by Lexis/Nexis (formerly Matthew Bender). The book is a textbook for students taking courses in professional responsibility or legal ethics. The co-authors are Professor Carol Needham of St. Louis University and Professor Burnele Powell of the University of South Carolina.
Professor Simon has also published the 2009 edition of "Regulation of Lawyers: Statutes and Standards," a statutory supplement for students taking professional responsibility or legal ethics. This is the twentieth edition of this title, which Professor Simon and co-author Professor Stephen Gillers of N.Y.U. School of Law have published annually since 1989. On the 2009 edition, Professor Andrew Perlman of Suffok University School of Law has joined as a co-author.
