Professor Grant Hayden to particpate in Civil Rights Day 2009
Professor of Law Grant Hayden will be participating in CIVIL RIGHTS DAY 2009 on Monday, February 2, 2009.
Hofstra University's Center for Civic Engagement will be celebrating Feb 1, 1960, the day the Woolworth's lunch counter sit-ins started in Greensboro, NC, in part because it's a date that takes place during the semester but also because that social action was initiated by college students. The event will be take place at Hofstra Univeristy in the Cultural Center Theater (Guthardt Theater). Both programs are free and open to the public.
