Professor John DeWitt Gregory to be honored by National Center for Law and Economic Justice
The honorees at the National Center for Law and Economic Justice Benefit Awards Dinner on June 2, 2009, at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers include Michael D. Fricklas, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary, Verizon, Inc., and John DeWitt Gregory, Sidney and Walter Siben Distinguished Professor of Family Law.
Professor Gregory has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Center (formerly known as the Welfare Law Center) since 1985 and currently is its Vice- Chair and a member of the Executive and Audit Committees and Co- Chair of the Nominating Committee. The mission of the National Center is advancing the cause of economic justice for low-income families, individuals and communities across the country.
