Professor Lauris Wren Honored by St. Ignatius Jesuit Retreat
Professor Lauris Wren will be honored by St. Ignatius Jesuit Retreat during their ninth annual Gold & Tennis Outing on Monday, May 18. Professor Wren, Dr. Thomas A. Davenport and Kevin J. Dwyer are being recognized for helping Stanley Nwachuku, a young Nigerian attacked with acid and left for dead because of his religious and anti-cult activities, and who is now being housed, fed and cared for by St. Ignatius Retreat House. Professor Wren successfully gained asylum for Nwachuku.
