Professor Joanna L. Grossman Elected to Membership in The American Law Institute
Joanna L. Grossman, Professor of Law and John DeWitt Gregory Research Scholar, has been elected to membership in The American Law Institute.
She joins Dean Nora V. Demleitner as well as Professors Burton G. Agata, Eric M. Freedman, Monroe H. Freedman, Leon Friedman, John DeWitt Gregory, Eric Lane, Malachy T. Mahon, Alan N. Resnick, Andrew Schepard and Norman I. Silber, in the distinguished membership.
The American Law Institute is the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize and otherwise improve the law. ALI membership is a distinct professional honor, and the number that can be admitted is limited to 3000.
The elected membership consists of judges, lawyers and law teachers from all areas of the United States and from many foreign countries, selected on the basis of professional achievement and demonstrated interest in improving the law.
