Professor Akilah N. Folami presented her article titled, “Freeing the Press from Editorial Discretion and Cultural Hegemony in Bona Fide News,” at the Third National People of Color conference hosted by Seton Hall Law School.
Professor Folami also moderated the Media Plenary at the Third National People of Color conference with such notable panelists as Professors Sheryll Cashin of Georgetown and Imani Perry of Princeton University, and as New Jersey public television and radio personality, Raymond Brown, and new media activist and scholar, Roberto Lovato.
