Susan H. Joffe presented at the 2011 Western Regional Legal Writing Conference at the University of San Francisco Law School on August 26-27. 

The conference, “How to Hit the Ground Writing: Meeting the Expectations of the Changing Legal Market,” explored legal employers’ expectations of research and writing for first-year lawyers given the challenging legal market and showcased how legal writing professors are helping their students meet those expectations.  Professor Joffe’s presentation focused on communicating effectively via e-mail in legal practice.
