Professor Amy R. Stein recently served as a Brief Judge in the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law.

Professor Amy R. Stein gave a presentation entitled “The Write Stuff: Tips for Effective Writing in the Real World” at the Nassau County Bar Association. Her presentation was part of a two-day Continuing Legal Education program offered by the Bar entitled “Bridging the Gap: From Classroom Theory to the Practice of Law.”

Professor Amy R. Stein gave a presentation and was a panelist at a workshop for new legal writing faculty and for adjunct faculty who teach legal writing. The Legal Writing Institute sponsored the workshops, which were held in Chicago (at The John Marshall Law School) and in New York (at the Manhattan Campus of St. John's University School of Law). Professor Stein presented at the New York workshop.
